Here are the details:

Date:

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

Time:

10:00AM - 12:00PM

Location:

Georgia Dome (Owner's Club)

Emcee:

Wes Durham (Atlanta Falcons Radio Network)

Coverage:

Live Webcast on myfalconsdraft.com, including ongoing commentary from emcee Wes Durham after each selection.

Duration:

Approximately 2 hours - 37 selections.

Falcons select in:

  • 1st Round (No. 3 overall)

  • 2nd Round (No. 34 overall)

  • 2nd Round (No. 37 overall)

Format:

  • Mock Draft will include selections through the Falcons' second 2nd-round selection (#37 overall).

  • Each participant will be assigned one NFL team based on the selection order of the actual NFL Draft.

  • Participants will act on behalf of their assigned teams, researching team needs and determining the team's selection based on their own opinion of who that team WILL select, not necessarily who they believe that team SHOULD select. The goal is to create as accurate a mock draft as possible.

  • Each selection will be made (beginning with the Miami Dolphins), and the media member making the selection will briefly explain his or her rationale for that selection. During the live Webcast, emcee Wes Durham will announce each selection, provide commentary and briefly introduce each participant when he or she is "on the clock."

  • Each selection will have two minutes to make his or her selection.

  • No participant will be assigned the three Falcons' selections. For the two Falcons' selections, we will query the entire panel. The panel's collective consensus will determine the Falcons' selections.

  • Actual trades between NFL teams that occur prior to the Massive Media Mock and impact NFL Draft order or team selection will be taken into account. In some cases, participants may be reassigned their pick order based on real-world trades.
